The Fear of God in Our Educational Priorities -
What is the cost of removing the fear of God from our children’s education? Kevin Swanson explains that because we have abandoned the fear of God in our educational institutions, every sphere of life is negatively impacted. Parents neglect their responsibility to teach and train their children and hand it over to the schools. Schools in America claim to teach children knowledge, but what is that knowledge based upon? What is that foundation upon which children are taught? Instead of teaching our children the fear of God, schools remove God and prayer from their curriculum and advance an educational agenda completely devoid of God. It is no surprise that countless graduates of these schools have turned their backs on God. Colossians 2:8 (NKJV) – “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.”
