An Example of Repentance - Rob Ventura
What is an example of repentance?
Rob Ventura explains in this video that there was a man that he knew who was hoping to become a deacon but even though he met every qualification, he struggled with gluttony.
He was a man of God who feared God. After being spoke to by the elders in the church, he repented. He quickly took steps to make a complete change of direction in his lifestyle.
Galatians 5:16-17 (NKJV) – “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.”
