Repentance in the home starts with people who are truly repentant. That is true humility. Pride is the enemy of that. For our children to admit that they’re wrong, it sure helps them to see their father set an example of humble repentance.
Ephesians 6:4 (NKJV) – “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.”
